Dr. Joaquín Andrade

I am a physician, international consultant, science communicator, and author. For more than five decades, I have dedicated my professional life to understanding the human being and sharing that knowledge in a clear, practical, and accessible way. I have always believed that medicine and neuroscience should not be reserved for specialists, but should be available to everyone as valuable tools for improving health, well-being, and quality of life.

Throughout my career, I have combined clinical practice, research, teaching, consulting, and science communication. This multidisciplinary experience has allowed me to develop an integrative approach to medicine, where scientific knowledge is complemented by a comprehensive understanding of the individual.

I am the author of more than ninety books published in Spanish, English, and German, available in print, eBook, and audiobook formats. Each publication reflects decades of medical practice, research, and direct experience with thousands of people. My goal has always been the same: to transform complex scientific concepts into practical, easy-to-understand ideas that anyone can apply, regardless of their educational background.

This website brings together my published works, making them available to readers from different countries and cultures. I hope that each book encourages a deeper understanding of the mind and body, inspires reflection, and provides practical insights that contribute to a healthier and more fulfilling life.

I currently practice medicine at the Instituto de Neurología Buenos Aires (INBA) and at my private medical office in Montevideo, Uruguay.
